I have yet to interview Kia Patterson, but I know a few things about her already. First, she’s a smart business woman. Second, she’s a woman living her life on purpose. Third, she is a humble woman who cares about her community and understands the importance of giving back. In case you didn’t know, Patterson is the owner of the first ever Black-owned grocery store in Compton, California. She is an independent owner of a Grocery Outlet franchise. Yep, she did that! Did I say I think she’s a BOSS?
You can read more of Patterson’s story here.
In the meantime, if you’re wondering what #BlackGirlMagic looks like, I say Ms. Patterson is a shining example. BOOM!
