Did you hear the news earlier this month about two new studies published in the Annals of Internal Medicine which found that drinking coffee was associated with longer life?
According to the studies which involved more than 700,000 people, the more coffee individuals consumed, the less likely they were to die an early death from a number of diseases including cancer, diabetes, and heart disease.
This is great news for coffee lovers, including me, but I can’t help wondering ‘wasn’t there a report out just a few years ago that said drinking too much coffee was bad for you? Hmmm… well, who am I to argue. Besides, I like the results of this latest study much better.
So, to summarize, I guess one could simply say, a cup a day may actually keep the doctor away.
